HungryTrucks Winter Circuit
Vendor Terms & Conditions
1. Attendance & Operating Hours
Consistent Operation: Vendors are required to be present and operational at their designated Winter Circuit site, according to the advertised days and hours.
No-Show Policy: If a vendor is not on-site during their agreed operating hours, no refunds will be offered for the site fee. Failure to be on-site during this time may result in a review of the vendor's place in the Winter Circuit programme and potential forfeiture of future scheduled dates.
2. Site Management & Utilities
Independent Power: All Winter Circuit locations are unpowered sites. Vendors must supply their own self-contained power. Generators must be inverted or silenced models and operated as quietly as practicable to minimize disruption to host properties, neighboring residents, and customers.
Zero Waste & Rubbish: Vendors are solely responsible for their own waste. All rubbish, packaging, and food waste must be packed out and taken with the vendor at the end of the shift. The designated footprint must be left exactly as it was found.
Gray Water & Grease Disposal: There is a strict prohibition on the dumping of gray water, cooking oils, grease, or any other liquid waste on the property, in gardens, or down public storm drains. All liquid waste must be contained within the vehicle and disposed of properly off-site.
3. Health, Safety & Compliance
Food Control Plan: Vendors must hold and maintain a current, valid Food Control Plan (or equivalent) registration as required by the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI).
Local Council Registrations: Vendors must possess all relevant mobile trading licenses required by Auckland Council (or the relevant local regulatory authority) for their designated operating locations.
Documentation on Demand: Copies of all required health and safety certificates, licenses, and registrations must be available to HungryTrucks upon request.
4. Insurance Requirements
Public Liability Insurance: Vendors must hold and maintain comprehensive Public Liability Insurance to cover any potential damage, accidents, or injury caused by their operations at the host sites.
5. HungryTrucks App Integration
Platform Usage: To support customer engagement and streamline operations, vendors must run their live-tracking exclusively through the HungryTrucks app during their scheduled Winter Circuit hours.
